About Corpus Christi Fishing

Captain Mike O'Dell is a proud member of the Coastal Bend Guides Association	Captain Mike O'Dell was born in West Texas, he and his father spent summer vacations fishing along the Texas Gulf Coast, he turned out to be a natural fishing guide. Captain Mike began working in the Coastal Bend area in 1963 as a deck hand; this gave him vast experience in bay, flats, and drift fishing in the Texas Bend. The past seven years he has been a professional fishing guide, intimately familiar with the bays and waterways of the Texas Bend, enabling him to find and catch Redfish, Drum, and Trout. Captain Mike also provides both leadership and community service as a long-time member of the Coastal Bend Guides Association (CBGA) and the Port Aransas Boatmen. The CBGA supports the Driscoll Children's Hospital and the South Texas Children's Home. The Port Aransas Boatmen provide a scholarship fund for young people of the Texas Bend. As a long time resident of the Texas Bend, Corpus Christi, and Port Aransas in particular, Captain Mike has the experience to steer his customers to the best hotels and restaurants in the area.
